Precautions for using self-adhesive labels

Publish Time: 2025-03-25
⑴ Comprehensive considerations based on the type, grade, quality, characteristics of the pasting surface, use environment and user requirements of the labeling object. If a label made of polypropylene self-adhesive labels with good transparency is pasted on a transparent bottle, it can produce a fashionable feeling without labels, which can improve the grade of the product and stimulate consumers' desire to buy. The flexibility, shrinkage, opacity, processing characteristics and labeling characteristics of polyvinyl chloride film are very good, and the colors are bright, which has the function of promoting and promoting products.

⑵ The surface of film self-adhesive labels must be smooth and dense, with uniform density, consistent color and good light transmittance to ensure that the film absorbs ink evenly and the color difference of the same batch of printed products is small.

⑶ The thickness of the self-adhesive label should be uniform and the strength index should be qualified. The printing pressure applied during the printing process is related to the thickness of the self-adhesive label. If the thickness is uneven, the printing pressure is also uneven, which will cause the handwriting or ink color of the label print to be dark or light. If the film strength is too poor, the film tension will be difficult to control during the printing process, which will have a great impact on die-cutting and waste discharge.

⑷ The self-adhesive label should be flatter and the rewinding tension should be uniform. Good flatness can ensure correct conveying, operation, registration and rewinding during printing. The rewinding tension of the film should be uniform and appropriate. If the tension is too small, the film substrate will be loose, and the longitudinal and transverse registration will be inaccurate; if the tension is too large, the substrate will shrink laterally, the registration will be unstable, and it will be difficult to print normally.

⑸ Film self-adhesive labels must also have the characteristics of corrosion resistance, aging resistance, non-fading, and small shrinkage and expansion ratios. If the corrosion resistance is poor, it is easy to age and fade, the label will not be durable, and it will also affect the sales and use of the goods. If the shrinkage and expansion ratio is large, it will not only affect the registration accuracy during printing, but also cause the label to deform during use, affecting the sales and use of the goods. Especially for labels of high-end goods, try to avoid the embarrassing situation that the goods are not expired, but the labels are already aged (label aging includes plastic aging and ink fading). If necessary, plastic or labels should be subjected to aging resistance tests to test their performance.

⑹ The self-adhesive labels purchased should also maintain good adhesion within the validity period.
